TRAINING PATH FOR THOSE WHO WANT MORE!
The Wing Chun Kung Fu School Program, involves passing examinations before a committee.
The exams are not mandatory; the choice to take the grade transitions is the student’s. Grade passage testifies to effective learning of the techniques and theories of Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu.
Grade passage is recognized by the color of a belt and white stripes (from one to four).
Levels
The level of the student is indicated by the color of the belt: Red, Green, Brown and Black. The Red belt is the lowest grade while the Black belt is the highest grade.
The newly enrolled student wears no belt; with the passage of the first exam, he or she acquires the rank of Red Belt 1 (equated 1st Basic Level – Yellow Belt).
Level advancement involves having learned a theoretical program and practical techniques; knowledge of the entire program, corresponds to Black belt 3 (equated 10th Advanced Level – 10th Dan).
The Junior Program, on the other hand, provides for a white belt after passing the first exam and the sewing of a red stripe on the belt with each grade advancement until 12 red strips are obtained.
The examinations include 7 sections.
Depending on the level, some sections may not be present in the exam session.

– Forms of Qi Gong
– Basic techniques
– Pair techniques
– Wing Chun Kung Fu Forms
– Forms with weapons (very advanced levels only)
– Theory.
Examination Regulations
In order to take the grade change exams, the following is required:
– Be registered through the website;
– Have paid the exam registration fee (exam cost or section repeat cost);
– Show up for the practical exam with a partner of the same or higher grade as your level (free agreement among students);
– Full official attire (Kung Fu Xué Xiào Association shirt + pants + dark indoor shoes + belt if already in possession);
– Be in good standing with Kwoon payments;
– Be in good standing with the payment of the social contribution (CHF 50/calendar year).
– Report to Kwoon 15 minutes before the start of the examinations;
Failure to comply with these rules will NOT be allowed to take the exams.

– Gymnastics with use of equipment
– Training with Sack / Pao / Passing Gloves (also combined with the use of wrist and ankle straps).
Qi Gong
– Study of the classical forms of Qi Gong and Martial Qi Gong.
Basic techniques
– Displacements
– Study of the use of arms and legs in Wing Chun
– Training with Jook Wan Heun.
Techniques in pairs
– Lap Sau drill
– Dan Chi Sau
– Chi Sau
– Coded arm and leg combinations (Progressions and against opponent(s))
– Sparring with basic protections.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
In order to take the grade change exams, the following is required:
– Be registered through the School’s website kungfuxuexiao.org;
– Exam registration and payment of exam fee must be finalized 10 days prior to the exam session (Francs in cash counted right);
– Payments made after 10 days prior to the exam session will be increased by CHF 50 (Cash Francs counted right);
– It is not possible to register and pay the fee on the same day as the exam;
– Appear for the practical exam with a partner of the same or higher grade as your level (K3 course only);
– Full official attire (shirt + pants + indoor shoes + belt if already in possession);
– Be in good standing with Kwoon payments;
– Report to Kwoon 10 minutes before the start of the exams;
Failure to comply with these rules will NOT be allowed to take the exams.
The teachings of Kung Fu are not only practiced in the gymnasium but are also useful throughout one’s existence.
